Paddy Power, Ireland’s biggest bookmaker, stroke a deal with Payment Service Provider, Realex Payments.
Realex Payments will manage Paddy Power whole processing sector; all channels, currencies, regions and card types.
Paddy Power’s Payments & Operational Development Manager, Michael Nolan commented on the deal saying that they wanted a solution that would not affect players when they make deposits. And Realex Payments proved to be the answer by issuing proper response codes for declined transactions, which would allow Paddy Power to deal with those in an efficient and prompt manner.
Realex Payments Head of Business Development for UK and Ireland, Andrew Yoakley said that Paddy Power deals with huge amount of transactions through different channels and to numerous acquirers, so they needed to support such a complex system and they are happy they have been able to do in order to make things much easier and quicker for Paddy Power.
This is yet another step from Paddy Power, after recently signing with Callcredit Information Group in order to make checks on new players on their online wagering sites. This goes to show that Paddy Power does take its business seriously, all to the benefit of its players.
